Burl cut from walnut produces one of the most visually complex grain patterns in woodworking - dark, rich tones twisted into dense, unpredictable swirls. Formed where the tree experienced unusual stress, no two pieces of burl veneer are alike. The semi-matte finish keeps the surface calm, allowing the depth and movement of the grain to speak for itself.
