Multilaminar wood veneer designed by Ettore Sottsass, finished semi-matte.

Created by layering and dyeing wood to produce bold, repeating patterns that read more like graphic design than natural material. Sottsass developed these veneers for ALPI in the 1980s as a direct challenge to the idea that wood should imitate nature - the result is something entirely its own. The semi-matte finish keeps the surface refined without dulling the pattern's intensity.
