Poplar burl veneer finished semi-matte.

Burl is formed where a tree grows around a wound or stress point, producing a dense, swirling grain unlike anything found in straight-cut wood. Each sheet of veneer is unique - no two pieces look the same. The semi-matte finish keeps the surface understated, letting the natural pattern of the wood do the work.
